Oak Hill Granary is a former agricultural building within the grounds of Oak Hill Wines. Converted in 2001 and completely refurbished in 2005, the building is now available as a self-catering holiday cottage. Although the building has several hundred years' worth of atmosphere, all furniture, appliances, fixtures and fittings are brand new - so no lumpy beds, threadbare sofas or dodgy plumbing!
Sympathetically restored, the accommodation has plenty of charm and character with flint walls and huge oak beams, yet it has all the comforts of modern living, including luxury leather sofas and a hand-built kitchen.


  • The Granary is double storey with the sitting room occupying the entire top floor. All rooms are heated by slimline, convector panels (electricity is included in rental).
  • Beamed living room with stripped floorboards, leather sofas, TV & dvd player
  • Well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, dining table and chairs.
  • Bedroom with large double bed, two chests drawers and built-in wardrobes (bedding is provided).
  • One bathroom with over-bath shower, w/c, washbasin and washer/dryer.

The cottage is completely self-contained and not overlooked by the owners' own property.


Guests are free to wander, sit or picnic in the 8 acres of grounds including the vineyard which is crowned by our magnificent vintage oak tree. The adjoining meadows, which are full of wild flowers in the Spring, are also available for guests’ leisure.
